Room FAQs

Welcome to your Villa Room! See the FAQs below to make the most out of your stay.

  • WiFi Network: CROWN ISLE – password is crownisle.
  • LAN Internet connection: If required, you can connect your laptop to our LAN network by plugging a network cable into our router/phone. Network cables are available at the front desk office.
  • Charging ports: You can charge compatible devices on the two bedside lamps. Make sure that there is no hard casing that can interfere with the wireless connection and place your device on the black base of the lamp.
  • TV: You can project your laptop screen to the TV using an HDMI cable, also available at the front desk upon request. Make sure to change the TV input and the laptop screen share setup.
  • Air Conditioner: All cottages have an overhead AC, and the remote control is located below it.
  • Fan: All units have a ceiling fan with a light; the remote control is on the wall beside the living room TV, and the main switch is on the wall just across.
  • Fireplace: All function buttons are located in the top right corner of the fireplace.
  • Heater Control: The living room area heater control is in the hallway. And one more is in the bedroom by the door.

Turning on the TV

  • Start with the LG/Sony TV remotes. Press power on this remote first and the LG/Sony insignia will display.
  • Press power on the Shaw remote and look for the blue light on the front of the receiver.

No Signal?

  1. If the TV is displaying no signal, take the LG remote and press ‘Input’. Ensure the input is set to ‘HDMI 1’ and the blue light is displaying on the front of the receiver.

Changing Channels

  • Channels can be changed using the Shaw remote and the Guide button. To change the channel, press ‘Guide’ and select the channel you wish to watch. We only have the channels found in the guide.

Volume

  • Volume can be adjusted using the LG TV remote.

Turning the thermostat up or down on the wall will turn on or shut off the fireplace.

40 gallons of hot water is available for your tub or shower. Please expect to wait more than an hour for hot water recovery. 

*In consideration of other guests, please refrain from using the Jacuzzi Jets after 11:00 pm.

*Please note that bath bombs, confetti, rose petals, glitter, etc are not permitted in the Jacuzzi. If there is evidence of use, we will charge a $250.00 extra cleaning fee.

  • Turn the timer switch on the wall
  • Press the button on the tub near the wall

If you are staying multiple nights, sufficient supplies and amenities will be set into the room for your stay. Should you require additional items, please call front desk or text  236-300-1494 including your room number and your request.

Ice can be found at two locations, the Aberdeen building, close to room 110, and at the lower level of the Dorchester building (side entrance).

Quiet time is between 11pm-7am. 

Please keep conversations and music quiet and respectful to other guests. Penalties or eviction for noise complaints may be enforced.

The standard check-out time is 11 am. Check-out is easy – simply text us at 250-703-5000 when you have departed and we will be happy to email your receipt to you.

The laundry facilities are on the top floor of each Villa (with the exception of Aberdeen – please visit Balmoral Villa for laundry). Laundry soap is available at the Front Desk.

Whether you are staying with us a short time or long term, you are welcome to enjoy borrowing a book or two. Feel free to leave a book as well.

Our $15/night Resort Fee includes:

  • Complementary Parking
  • A medium bucket of balls for the driving range each day you stay
  • 2 bottled waters a day
  • In-lobby coffee
  • Fitness + Business Centre access

The Fitness Centre is open from 7AM-9PM daily.

Please check in at the front desk. 

As Crown Isle is a cannabis-free resort, please refrain from smoking cannabis anywhere on the property. Tobacco smoking is permitted in designated parking lot areas and is not permitted in rooms, on patios, or balconies.

A $250.00 fee will be applied to your folio if there is evidence of smoking in or around the room, or if lingering odors of tobacco or cannabis are detected. Please be mindful of smoking bans during dry or hot conditions. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy, which helps protect the comfort of other guests, neighboring homeowners, and the surrounding forest ecosystem.

Remember to lock your vehicle.

Non-golfers!  For your safety please do not walk, stroll, or cycle on the golf course or its pathways, even when it appears there is no activity. 

The golf course is for active golf play only.

Check out the Timber Room Bar & Grill, located in the Clubhouse. Or, check out the other restaurants in the area.

The Timber Room Bar & Grill offers a deliciously wonderful “gastro-pub” menu in a newly renovated space. From steaks to salmon, noodle bowls to tacos, burgers and ribs, our menu has been designed to please all! Family-friendly and open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (dependent on season, please see current hours below). The ambiance is playful and social – full of logging memorabilia, live sports on the multiple screens, great music playing in the background, and a cozy fireplace section. When the weather warms up, the Comox Valley’s largest and most scenic patio overlooking the 18th green welcomes golfers, hotel guests, and local patrons alike. Come for a beverage, stay for a meal.
