Ladies’ Club

Mission statement

The Crown Isle Ladies Club focuses on promoting respect for the game of golf while providing both competitive and social opportunities for our members. We also encourage camaraderie and the chance to provide support and friendship not only with our members, but also in our contribution to Junior Golf and our local community.

Tuesday Ladies

From early April to the end of September, women club members are welcome to participate in the Tuesday Ladies’ group. Tee times are reserved each Tuesday morning for a weekly competition (Game of the Day) as well as non-competitive tee times (Recreational Golf).

  1. Click on the ‘Tuesday Ladies Day’ button below to register for the season and sign up for events.
  2. Once on that page, click the ‘Calendar’ tab and then choose the ‘More Info’ button for details about each week’s competition.
  3. For a comprehensive look at the weekly game schedule, click on the ‘Fixture List and Game Descriptions’ yellow tab.

Don’t have a handicap yet?
To be eligible to play in the Game of the Day, you must have an accurate, up-to-date handicap. If you do not yet have an established handicap, you are still welcome to play in Recreational Golf. Once you have three games completed (from any day) and scores entered in Golf Canada, your handicap will be calculated. You will then be eligible to play in the Game of the Day and other competitive Crown Isle events.

Entering scores from Tuesday play
All women who play on Tuesdays, whether in the Game of the Day or Recreational Golf, are required to submit their scorecards via Golf Genius. Your score automatically uploads to Golf Canada. Do not post your own score into Golf Canada for Tuesday play.

Captain's Corner

Halfway there!

Three months down, three months to go with our Tuesday league! But there’s still ample opportunity for you to have a milestone hole (eagle/hole-in-one) or round (break 100/90/80 with all putts holed out). If you do, be sure to email me at cilc.captain@gmail.com and send a photo of your attested scorecard.

CILC Executive Vacancies

We need volunteers for the following positions, beginning in October.

  • 1st Vice Captain/Interclub Co-Chair (becomes Captain in October 2027)
  • 2nd Vice Captain/Interclub Co-Chair (becomes 1st Vice/Interclub Co-chair in October 2027)
  • Match Play & Tournaments trainee (becomes one of two chairs in October 2027)

The CILC only works if the members take their turn in helping run it. Finding someone to join the Captaincy track has become more and more difficult. The position is not as onerous or cumbersome
as you might think. The executive runs smoothly and is very efficient. The job is mainly one of communication and overseeing meetings.

If you are interested in any of these positions, or need more information, contact me or Pam Windover.
