Crown Isle’s Holiday Resort Walk returns for its 8th year!
Join us over 12 nights in December to see the thousands of lights and festive displays. The Holiday Resort Walk wraps around the outside of the Crown Isle Clubhouse, with lights, holiday scenes and characters set up on the grounds. Santa is waiting by the fireplace in the gazebo to hear your Christmas wishes and take photos. Stroll down Christmas Tree Trail and vote on your favourites decorated by local businesses while festive music fills the air. Have fun with the whole family while playing carnival games and mini golf, or watch a Christmas movie on the big outdoor screen. Warm up in front of the fire while you toast a marshmellow for a tasty s’more treat, or grab a hot chocolate and cookie or other snacks in the Sandwedge. Crown Isle staff and volunteers are working hard to make this year even bigger and better than the last, and a memorable Christmas experience for all.
Inside the Clubhouse, check out the Gingerbread Village Charity Silent Auction on display December 1-17 with dozens of gingerbread creations and teddy bear baskets filled with goodies. These entries are all contributed by local community members and businesses, who work hard each year to help Crown Isle make this event a success. Bid on your favourites online through crownisle.com and take them home in time for the holidays.
The Holiday Resort Walk starts December 2, and continues on December 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16-21. Hours are 5:00 – 8:00pm each night. Admission to the Holiday Resort Walk is by cash donation or tap to donate; proceeds from both events benefit the Comox Valley Transition Society, YANA, and MARS Wildlife Rescue. Please note that after discussion with the CV Foodbank, we will not be accepting donations of nonperishable food items but cash is gladly accepted.
GET INVOLVED! Have fun and give back this holiday season by making a bid item for the Gingerbread Village Charity Auction, decorate a tree for Christmas Tree Trail, or just become a sponsor to help us make this event a success.
Funds raised benefit Y.A.N.A, MARS Wildlife Rescue, and the Comox Valley Transition Society
